Hopefully, arrangements will be made so that matches 7, 10 and 11 are played simultaneously to reduce the overall length of the tournament time.

In the event that 7 teams consist of 3 group winners and 4 group runners up, the runner up team from the group where the winning team has withdrawn from the finals, will be promoted to the group winner. For example if the winner of group A does not attend the finals, then the runner up of group A will be promoted to the “winner of group A”. However, they will have to play in the first round – eg they will not be automatically granted a bye through to the second round. The tournament will then proceed as scheduled above.

If six teams take part in the final – start time 10am, presentation of medals at 6pm.

The six teams entering could be made up of

4 group winners and 2 group runners up

3 group winners and 3 group runners up

The general aim will be to ensure that the first match will be of the form:

On the morning of the tournament, in front of all team managers, players and spectators a draw will be made to determine which counties play one another. The exact format of the draw will be made clear once the teams entering are known.
